"Everlasting 24\" twisted ribbon lei in black, gray and red, a perfect length for your neck or a hat. This style of lei is inspired by the feather kamoe lei and the people and places of my beloved Hawaii. This one is named Mauna Kea after the volcano on The Big Island.
I really like the idea of making a larger lei by twisting a 5/8" satin ribbon lei and a 7/8" organza lei together. They would definitely need to be longer because twisting together takes up length. Adding a 3rd ribbon lei would make design sense because odd numbers are eye pleasing. This is something I would like to try in the future.Use string or put the fern garland directly on the head to measure out the amount of garland needed. Make sure to leave at least 1" to 1.5" extra length so it can be secured together with wire. Overlap the ends of the fern. Use the pliers to wrap the wire around the ends to secure it together.
