Yesterday I just received an invitation to interview for LECOM's Bradenton campus. I accepted the invitation and my zoom session is on March 18th, however, I realized that I do not meet the school's letter requirements. I have 4 letters total, one science professor, one non-science professor, one osteopathic physician, and one allopathic physician.This is a professional promise that you will take their offer. While officially they don't communicate between schools they do unofficially (at lest a few I know about). When asked at my interview, students basically said "if you want to specialize, then LECOM isn't for you". Even my interviewers said LECOM is basically designed for producing general dentists. They grade on pass/fail so there isn't a ranking system, which would make it hard to specialize because I guess there is no actual GPA, if that makes sense.
