Suggestion, wait until the reward you want is in the Legendary version, not Master. It's easier and the drop rates for people have been the same if not higher. Sure it's a minor inconvenience to wait, but chances are you'll get the exotic you want doing a Legendary lost sector rather than a Master one.

Even master is only an exotic every 3-5 runs. IIRC it's ~25% for legend and ~30% for the master version based on some community testing. With that said it is a dice roll every time so don't succumb to gamblers fallacy. Lost sectors should usually give the specific (new) armour pieces first, based on what type is on offer that day (leg, chest head etc) and after they drop random exotic armour based on what you don't have already. If you already have all the exotic armour in the world loot pool then you just get random rerolls of them.
