When turning on my car instantly almost all indicators stay illuminated and the dash screen starts letting me know Eyesight off-check owners manual, RAB disabled- check owners manual, ect.. with blind spot, traction control, lane assist, uphill assist and the like. But in this respect a Subaru EyeSight windscreens are no more vulnerable to damage than any standard windscreen. The cameras are on the inside, and the problem always starts on the outside. Clearly. Certainly EyeSight windscreens do cost a lot to replace and recalibrate. (The position of the cameras relative to the car is critical, obviously.)After about ten months of this happening often and the dealer and Subaru Reps from Corporate apparently not able to fix the problem, Subaru bought the car back. I bought that Legacy in late summer 2016. Periodically, I come across someone who sounds like they are having similar problems.
